Nomad Privacy Policy

Overview
Nomad — Day Tracker ("Nomad", "the App") is provided by Vaipo UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("Vaipo", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
The short version: Nomad does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. There is no account, no backend, and no networking. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Our general Privacy Policy also applies to your use of Vaipo's services generally, but where it conflicts with this document for anything Nomad-specific, this document controls.
No Account, No Backend, No Data Collection
Nomad is offline-first. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no server we operate that receives your data. The App does not use networking, analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or location tracking.
All of the trips, thresholds, country limits, and settings you enter are stored locally on your device only, in the App's private storage. We never receive or see this information.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or other contact details
- Location or GPS data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Your trips, notes, dates, or country limits
Because we never receive or store your data, we cannot access, back up, recover, or transfer it. Losing your device, deleting the App, or resetting its data will permanently delete your trips and settings. Use the CSV export feature in Settings to keep your own backup.
Data You Export
If you use the CSV export feature (part of Nomad Pro), the resulting file is created on your device and shared through your device's standard share sheet to a destination you choose (for example, Files, email, or another app). Once you share it, that file and its contents are handled by the destination you selected and are outside our control. We never receive a copy.
Purchases
Nomad Pro is an optional, one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and your entitlement is tied to your Apple ID. We do not process payments ourselves and never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
The only third party involved in your use of the App is Apple, which distributes the App and processes in-app purchases. We do not integrate any advertising, analytics, or tracking services. We do not share data with third parties, because we do not have your data to share.
Children's Privacy
Nomad is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
Your Rights
Data-protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grant rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Because Nomad stores your data solely on your device and we hold none of it, you already have full and direct control: you can view, edit, export, or delete everything from within the App at any time. There is no data held by us to request or erase.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or in legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
